Dubuque man sentenced to 50 years for sexual abuse of a child

DUBUQUE, Iowa (KCRG) - A Dubuque man was sentenced to 50 years in prison Monday for sexually abusing a child.

In February, Swank was charged with more than 20 sex crimes including one count of Sexual Abuse - Continuous Sexual Abuse of A Child, four counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, 13 counts of Sex Offender Registration Violation - Crime Against Minor, three counts of Sex Offender Registration Violation - second or subsequent offense, three counts of Lascivious Acts with a Child, One count of Grooming, three counts of Indecent Contact with a Child, one count of Purchase/Possess Depiction of Minor in Sex Act 1st Offense, one count of Dissemination and Exhibition of Obscene Material to Minors and One count of Animal Neglect with Injury.
