LUBBOCK, Texas -- Texas Tech football prides itself on being a family, not just between coaches and players, but the families behind them.

For tight end Johncarlos Miller II, that family bond stretches nearly 1,400 miles from Lubbock to Greensboro, North Carolina. His parents, Nolita and Johncarlos Miller, haven’t missed a single Texas Tech football game in two seasons.

The Millers travel to every home and away game, documenting their adventures on social media. From long drives to nail-biting flights, even cancellations haven’t stopped them from finding their seats by kickoff.

“We told him that if you commit to playing college football, we’ll commit to being at every game to support you,” Nolita said.
