BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) -- A Prairieville man was arrested on child sex crimes charges Monday after an investigation.

The Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office said Willard Yochim, 33, was charged with five counts of child sexual abuse materials (under 13) and three counts of child sexual abuse materials.

Yochim was arrested after detectives got a cyber tip from the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation. He was booked into the Ascension Parish Jail after an arrest warrant was issued.
