BELLEVUE, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — The City of Bellevue has issued a water boil advisory for some neighborhoods after a waterline break on Tuesday.
The boil advisory is in effect for the Riverside subdivision, the Glen Aspen subdivision, and Chestnut Street south to the Hunger Coalition, according to the city .
The city enacted the advisory after a grounding rod broke a waterline between Chestnut Street and Gannett Road during electrical equipment installation.
Due to the damage, a section of pipe had to be replaced, which required a complete water shutdown. The shutdown led to a loss of pressure.
The city said repairs have been made and crews have flushed the lines in the affected areas, which required the city to issue the advisory. Crews will test the water on Wednesday morning.
