A woman is due to appear in court accused of bringing drugs into a Teesside prison. Kelly Sharp is listed to attend Teesside Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, October 29.

The 37-year-old is charged with bringing buprenorphine, cocaine and MDMA into Holme House Prison in Stockton . The Hartlepool woman allegedly brought the drugs into the Category C men's prison on July 25, last year.

Sharp, of Egerton Terrace, Greatham, is listed to attend the Middlesbrough court for a first hearing at 9.30am. She will face three charges of “bring / throw / convey a List ' A ' prohibited article into / out of a prison”.

The charges state: “On 25th July 2024 at Stockton on Tees without authorisation brought, threw or otherwise conveyed a substance, namely Cocaine, which was specified by section 40
