CONNERSVILLE, Indiana — A Connersville photographer accused of fondling and taking nude photos of children is now facing federal charges.

According to federal court documents, 22-year-old Mikell Shepard faces three counts of sexual exploitation of a minor and one count of possession of child pornography.

It all stems from a CyberTip report from Google regarding an account, allegedly owned by Shepard, who police believe uploaded thousands of images and videos of children nude or being abused by Shepard.

Investigators now say eight victims, some as young as 9 months old, were photographed nude. Police say they believe some photos were even taken during photo shoots.
