The Warriors are playing well to start the 2025-26 NBA season, and it's not simply due to their star power.
Instead of needing to rely on their All-Star trio of Steph Curry, Jimmy Butler and Draymond Green, Golden State has received substantial production from its younger role players through five games.
After the Warriors' 98-79 win over the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday night at Chase Center, Butler was asked about the team's ample depth at this point.
"You know, me and [Gary Payton II] were just talking about that -- how deep this team really is," Butler told reporters , "and, you know, we don't have certain guys back yet or in full motion of what they could and will be doing.
"It's a good thing for us, and it's a scary thing for everybody else."
