Thousands of Utahns are choosing their health insurance plans for next year.
Medicare open enrollment is underway, and people can begin applying for insurance under the Affordable Care Act starting Nov. 1. As you do your research, health care experts are warning misinformation and changes could make this year's process harder.
Darren Hotten, associate state director of community outreach for AARP Utah, said it is important to see if your Medicare Advantage plan is still being offered. He pointed out some are being discontinued and others have changed their benefits.
