LOGAN - A survey from Trio.dev on October 28 indicates 92 percent of Utahns believe some jobs, especially doctors, teachers, and judges should remain human-led despite AI advancements.
The survey of 4,012 respondents revealed that 75 percent trust human professionals more with sensitive data and believe AI could makes society riskier.
Utahns cited empathy, common sense, and ethical judgment as qualities AI cannot replicate, with only 35% comfortable with AI managing 911 calls.
While 65 percent would prefer a human even if AI was more accurate, a separate survey of Utah managers by Trio.dev showed 1 in 10 would replace employees with AI without hesitation.
