(KFVS) - It’s a very soggy and breezy day in the Heartland.
Showers with pockets of heavy rainfall are possible throughout the entire day as an area of low pressure swings across the Heartland.
Winds will also be very breezy out of the east/northeast, with wind gusts between 20 to 30 miles per hour.
Widespread rain is expected to clear slowly late tonight, bringing drier conditions for the rest of the week.
Afternoon highs look to stay in the upper 50s to low 60s over the next several days.
Thursday will be mostly sunny, but also very breezy.
Halloween is looking partly cloudy with a slight breeze.
Trick-or-treating temperatures are trending in the upper 40s to low 50s and then quickly dropping into the 40s overnight into Saturday morning.
