WEST CHESTER TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WXIX) - An Interstate 75 interchange remains partially closed in the northern Cincinnati suburbs due to an explosive tanker truck fire.

It happened just before noon Tuesday when the truck, which was carrying about 4,500 gallons of diesel fuel, overturned on the ramp from southbound Interstate 75 to Union Centre Boulevard.

This ignited an explosive fire that sent huge, black plumes of smoke into the air for miles in West Chester Township.

Here’s what you need to know as you head out Wednesday:

The ramp from the southbound lanes of I-75 to eastbound Union Centre Boulevard remains closed, according to West Chester dispatchers.

Drivers can use the right side of the ramp, however, to westbound Union Centre Boulevard.
