MEDINA, Ohio -- The quarterly meeting of 100+ Women Who Care Medina was held Oct. 14 in the Western Reserve Masonic Home Community Room.

Cathy Posner opened the meeting by welcoming the guests and providing up-to-date statistics.

The group now has 245 active members, with nine new members joining since July.

Since the group was established in April 2011, it has donated just over $547,000 to Medina County nonprofits.

The membership has had a significant impact in the county through a grassroots, philanthropic social giving circle.

The July 2025 winner, Sustain ED, received donations of $14,705 from the group.

Liz O’Grady shared that Sustain ED is currently accepting bids for the needed gate and access driveway leading into the community gardens. The project is expected to be completed
