MIDDLEBURY ― The Division I field hockey championship matchup has been set. The final four teams travelled to Middlebury College for the semifinals on Tuesday, Oct. 28, where two teams would see their seasons come to an end.

No. 1 Rice dominated No. 5 South Burlington for a 7-0 win and No. 2 Champlain Valley shut out No. 3 Burr and Burton, 3-0 in the nightcap, punching tickets to the championship game on Saturday Nov. 1 at UVM's Moulton Winder Field. Both teams secured wins behind their stars' stellar play.

This is the third straight season the Redhawks and Green Knights will play each other in the playoffs.
