MAINE, USA — Thousands of Mainers could lose SNAP benefits if the government does not open up by Nov. 1 . Dozens of restaurants are stepping up to help.

Offering a limited number of free pizzas a day to those in need.
Nutty Nettie's, Auburn
Free meals for kids 17 and under. Until the government shutdown is over and/or SNAP benefits are restored.
Blaze, all locations
50% off all food and non-alcoholic drinks. Customers will be asked to show their SNAP/EBT card. For the month of November or until the government shutdown ends.
Megunticook Market and Catering, Camden
