BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) - A Binghamton man, who is currently serving a prison sentence, was recently granted additional prison time.
Broome County District Attorney Paul Battisti announced today that Grady Hunter, 48, pleaded guilty to Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree in Broome County Court on October 27, moments before jury selection was set to begin.
Hunter, who is already serving a 10-year state prison sentence, will serve an additional 5-year state prison term, followed by 5 years of post-release supervision.
The plea stems from an incident that took place on July 19, 2024, in the Village of Johnson City. Officers from the Johnson City Police Department responded to a call at 39 Allen Street, Apartment 2, where a female reported that a male subject had a gun
