DALLAS — A Dallas Mavericks player was arrested over the weekend after marijuana was found in his bag, arrest records show.

As first reported by our content partners at DLLS Sports , Mavs backup point guard Brandon Williams was arrested Saturday by DFW Airport authorities and charged with possession of marijuana.

According to an arrest record, Williams attempted to go through TSA at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport when personnel located a black container in his bag that contained 1.585 ounces of marijuana. Williams told authorities that his manager had packed his bag, according to the document.

Officers arrested Williams around 10:02 a.m. and charged him with possession of marijuana, and he was taken to jail without incident, the record states.
