LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - The Lake Charles Police Department is currently investigating after responding to a robbery call at a gas station on Gerstner Memorial Drive.
Sgt. Brad Puckett says officers were dispatched to the Stripes gas station on 3201 Gerstner Memorial Drive after receiving a call about a robbery. When they arrived, they learned that shots had been fired and found shell casings in the parking lot.
No one was reported injured as a result of the incident, and two people were taken into custody.
Lake Charles Police say this is an ongoing investigation and will provide additional details as they become available.
