A ramen restaurant in Old Louisville is closing after nearly three years in business.
Renshoku Ramen , 1161 S. Second St., will close this week, the restaurant announced Oct. 29 in a social media post .
"It is with great sadness that I must announce that today will be the last day of service," the post read. "We have (done) everything in our power to overcome the financial burdens of our restaurant but with no success."
The post referenced struggles with the building on Second Street, including windows getting "shot out" and damage from a June 2024 fire caused by a car crash. After the crash, Renshoku Ramen was closed for three months.
