LOUISVILLE, Ky. —
An Old Louisville ramen restaurant is closing up shop after a little more than two years in business.
Renshoku Ramen, which opened in 2023, announced on Facebook its last day in business would be Wednesday.
"It is with great sadness that I must announce that today will be the last day of service for Renshoku Ramen. We have done everything in our power to overcome the financial burdens of our restaurant but with no success," the post reads in part.
Renshoku cited being unable to overcome hardships like getting their windows shot out and a fire that shut down the restaurant for three months. The fire happened in June 2024, where a car crashed and caught fire, spreading to the restaurant.
