LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - An Old Louisville ramen shop announced that it was permanently closing its doors on Wednesday.
Renshoku Ramen published a social media post on Wednesday, Oct. 29, saying that it would be the restaurant’s last day of service.
The business suffered a major setback in June of 2024 when it had to temporarily close for three months after a car driving on the wrong side of the road crashed into a nearby tree, causing a fire that spread to the building, and killing the driver.
“We have did everything in our power to overcome the financial burdens of our restaurant but with no success. From getting our windows shot out to a fire that shut us down for 3 months we simply could not recover,” the restaurant said on Facebook.
