GOSHEN, Ind. -- The African Children's Choir started touring in 1984, traveling to over 100 cities yearly. This year there are 17 performers, all between ages eight and ten. The current organization leader, Tamale, use to be a performer himself.
His story like many of the children now singing, started from a place of poverty. The opportunities to perform helped shape his life. He now uses his second chance at life by guiding current members with a positive outlook and hope.
