Cleveland Water is reporting a water main break on Cedar Road between Chatfield and Demington roads in Cleveland Heights that has led to a temporary closure of all four lanes of Cedar Road.

The Cleveland Heights Police Department has responded and is on the scene directing traffic. However, motorists are advised to avoid Cedar Road between the Cedar-Fairmount and the Cedar-Coventry intersections, according to a news release from the city.

Police will establish a detour and share details about alternative routes as soon as possible.
