A man accused of threatening several synagogues in Alabama and neighboring states was arrested with a suitcase full of ammunition, body armor and other items, authorities said.

Jeremy Wayne Shoemaker was taken into custody at his home in Needham on counts of resisting arrest and illegal firearm possession, the Clarke County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement on Tuesday. The FBI has also been made aware of the “credible threats of violence,” and “multiple federal charges are likely,” it continued, though it was unclear whether he will face hate crime charges.
