GLENMONT, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Bethlehem Police reported the arrest of two Albany men after a scam investigation. Bailey Martinez, 24, and Deamonte Brown, 25, both face multiple charges.

Martinez and Brown are accused of trying to con a Glenmont resident by impersonating Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) investigators. The two allegedly told the victim during a phone call that their bank account had been compromised, and that a representative of the FDIC would be coming to the victim's home in a white vehicle at a set time to collect their debit card.

Police stated that Martinez and Brown were seen arriving to the victim's residence in a white Nissan SUV around 5:30 p.m. on October 28, resulting in officers taking them into custody at the scene. The two were both charged with four
