PLYMOUTH, Ind. (WNDU) - Thousands of residents in the Plymouth area are currently without power.
According to NIPSCO’s outage map , roughly 2,750 customers in the area are without power. Meanwhile, Marshall County REMC says approximately 650 customers are in the dark in the area southwest of Plymouth.
NIPSCO says it is aware of the issue and is working to restore power. According to the company’s outage map, power is expected to be restored to the area between 3:30 p.m. and 4 p.m.
Marshall County REMC believes it is experiencing a transmission issue involving its power provider. Linemen are out working to restore power as soon as possible.
