MAULDIN, S.C. (WSPA) -- A Mauldin couple has transformed their home into a Halloween spectacle with 300 decorations, drawing crowds to the 500 block of Central Avenue.
The Thompsons, inspired by their love of horror movies from the 80s and 90s, have filled their yard with clowns, aliens, vampires and other spooky creatures.
Their display has become a local attraction, reviving Halloween festivities in the area.
"Halloween wasn't really around in this area, so I just went all out," said Mark Thompson.
"Now a lot of people come and there's other people are passing out candy and we kind of bringing it back to the area."
The Thompsons' Halloween display continues to delight visitors, offering a unique and festive experience for those who stop by Central Avenue in Mauldin.
