TOWNSHIP 41 -- Maine state police are investigating the death of a Kennebunk man who authorities say was found in a Hancock county bog.
According to a press release from Maine State Police, on Tuesday Troopers responded to 32000 Road in Township 41, off the Stud Mill Road, after receiving a report of an unattended death.
Authorities say David Bridges, 70, of Kennebunk, was found deceased in a bog just off the roadway.
According to police, Bridges appeared to have been fur trapping in the area.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Augusta will determine the cause and manner of Bridges' death, but state police said his death does not appear to be suspicious.
The Maine Warden Service assisted with the investigation.
