Central Pennsylvania can expect rain this week, which might damper some enthusiasm for trick-or-treaters in the region.
The National Weather Service in State College is calling for rain to begin overnight tonight, and continue into thunderstorms on Thursday.
AccuWeather also reports that rain is likely Thursday , and will continue in the afternoon and early evening.
That’s not great news for those neighborhoods that will be holding their trick-or-treat nights on Thursday evening.
In fact, several have begun to reschedule to pre-planned rain dates. (PennLive is updating that story to include new announcements.)
For those trick-or-treating on Friday, however, the forecast is more optimistic. The weather will still be cool, but it’s much less likely you’ll see rain.
