LUDLOW, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - A Springfield man is facing a dozen different charges after police found him in a stolen car last Friday.

Rafael Rivera-Vazquez, 37, tried to run away, but an officer caught him and found a loaded gun, as well as heroin and crack cocaine. There was also a crack pipe, bullets, and a machete in the car.

Rivera-Vazquez is being held without bail on several gun, drug, and motor vehicle related charges.
