State Sen. Chris Elliott (R-Josephine) announced on Wednesday that he will seek a new term in 2026.
He cited his ongoing efforts to “streamline state government, protect Alabama values, combat the woke agenda, cut taxes, and secure Baldwin County’s fair share of state revenues among the reasons” he’s running again.
“Since becoming a lawmaker, I have been vocal about calling balls and strikes in Montgomery, and I’ve always viewed state government through the eyes of a concerned taxpayer, not a politician,” Elliott said. “At the same time, Baldwin County and its cities are among the fastest growing areas in the entire U.S., and I am working hard every day to demand the state funding and resources necessary to accommodate that growth and reflect our area’s significant contributions to Alaba
