In mid-October, a delegation from Vaxjo, Sweden, visited the Duluth City Council. As part of the Duluth Sister Cities International program, the delegation met with local leaders in government and business to discuss entrepreneurship and economic development.
Given Vaxjo’s global leadership in sustainability, I found myself wondering if anyone was also talking about the growing challenges of climate change, its significant impacts upon cities, and how a city like Duluth could become more sustainable and resilient.
