BENTON HARBOR, Mich. (WNDU) - Benton Harbor Area Schools says it has launched an investigation after receiving a complaint alleging inappropriate conduct involving several employees.
The district says it received the complaint on Monday and has since removed the employees in question from their duties.
District officials say they are unable to share details about the ongoing investigation, but they say the allegations are being thoroughly reviewed.
“Our top priority remains the safety and well-being of our students, and we are committed to maintaining a secure and supportive learning environment,” the district said in a statement sent to WNDU 16 News Now.
