APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV) - A teacher at Appleton's Fox Valley Lutheran High School was arrested on Wednesday for possession of child pornography.

Officers with the Appleton Police Department say the arrest was made by School Resource Officers on October 29.

The investigation began with an online tip through the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, and James R. Neujahr of Appleton was identified as a suspect.

Neujahr is reportedly employed as a teacher at Fox Valley Lutheran High School. Neujahr is the school's band director. Officers noted that there is no evidence to suggest that any students were harmed at the school.

After the school was notified, Fox Valley Lutheran HS took immediate action and cooperated fully with the investigation.
