APPLETON, Wis. (WBAY) - Appleton Police announced Wednesday that school resource officers arrested a man identified as a teacher at Fox Valley Lutheran High School for one count of possession of child pornography.

Appleton Police said case originated from an online tip received through the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). Through the course of the investigation, James R. Neujahr, a resident of Appleton, was identified as a suspect.

The school was notified and took immediate action to cooperate with investigators.

Police said Neujahr was taken into custody without incident on Wednesday morning. At this time, police said there is no evidence to suggest that any children were harmed at the school.
