LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The United States Postal Service will honor Muhammad Ali with a Forever stamp in 2026.

The Muhammad Ali Center announced the honor on Wednesday. The three-time World Heavyweight Champion, humanitarian and global icon transcended the world of sports.

USPS will release two commemorative stamps, designed by USPS art director Antonio Alcalá. The stamps feature a 1974 picture of Ali in his signature stance. One stamp will have the picture on the top half of the stam with “ALI” in dark brown on the lower half and “THE GREATEST”—Ali’s nickname, running up the side. The second stamp has the picture in the bottom half of the stamp with “ALI” and “THE GREATEST” in different colors running up the side.
