LUMBERTON — To celebrate Native American voices during Native American Heritage Month, the Robeson County Arts Council (RCAC) is hosting its second annual “Indigenous Voices” exhibition.
RCAC will open the exhibit with an event from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 13 at its gallery at 402 North Chestnut Street in downtown Lumberton, and the exhibit will run through Dec. 2.
The Indigenous Voices exhibition is one of many cultural exhibitions the RCAC has put on over the last few years, according to RCAC board member Larry Cox, and will be far from the last.
“We’re trying to reach out to every demographic and artist in the county by offering exhibits,” Cox said.
Alongside the annual Indigenous Voices exhibition, the RCAC has also helped sponsor the Hispanic Festival in downtown Lumber
