ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WIS) - Authorities said two students were hurt after a fight at Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School on Wednesday.
The Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office said the incident happened at around 12:45 p.m. on the school’s campus. An altercation between three students led to two of them sustaining what the sheriff’s office called “minor puncture wounds.”
WIS has reached out to the Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office for more clarification on the injuries, as well as the condition of the students hurt.
The sheriff’s office said officials also “responded immediately in accordance with Orangeburg County School District’s established safety procedures and protocols” and that the situation was “quickly contained.”
