Kingsway Indoor Stadium will play host to some of Australia’s top roller derby teams this weekend, as Adelaide’s best cross the Nullarbor to take on WA in the 2025 ‘Nulla Brawl’.

Joining forces with WA Roller Derby, a self-organised, not-for-profit Women’s Flat Track Roller Derby league, five teams will go head-to-head across three matches.

A roller derby is a full-contact sport played on quad skates, often described as “rugby on wheels,” where one “jammer” scores points by lapping opposing players while teammates block and support.

The teams set to take to the rink are Perth’s West Coast Evils and Rumble Bees, WA Roller Derby, and South Australia’s Adelaide Rads and Adelaide Ads.
