SHREVEPORT, La. ( KTAL/KMSS) — Centenary College Theatre Program will present The Thanksgiving Play, October 30 through November 2, 2025, a sharp comedy written by Larissa FastHorse and directed by Logan Sledge.

The play follows four well-meaning white teaching artists as they attempt to stage a politically correct Thanksgiving pageant that honors both the First Thanksgiving and Native American Heritage Month. Chaos ensues when the group hires an actress they believe to be Native American to lend cultural authenticity—only to discover she is white.

Showtimes are set for 7:30 p.m. October 30 through November 1, 2025, and 2 p.m. on November 2, 2025, in the Marjorie Lyons Playhouse. Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for senior citizens and members of the military, and $10 for Centenary studen
