A staple of Chattanooga history is celebrating its birthday this Sunday, November 16.

The Chattanooga Area Regional Transportation Authority (CARTA) is planning a family friendly party for the classic attraction, the event featuring food trucks, bounce houses, face painting, and local vendors.

According to Charles Frazier, the current CEO of CARTA, the railway continues to drive the local economy by fueling visitors to dine, shop, and stay in the Chattanooga community.
