LONDON, Ky. (WYMT) - North Laurel Football is 7-2 for the first time since 2021, thanks in large part to Cooper Robinson.

“Everyone knows him as the running back, runs the ball the most, has the most touchdowns, but he is always where he is supposed to be, he is making plays,” said North Laurel Football Head Coach Steven Nelson.

The WYMT Don Franklin Athlete of the Week ran at will against South Laurel, tallying 190 rushing yards and two touchdowns in the Jaguars’ 21-3 victory.

“He made it really easy for me out there, giving the ball to him every play, and just busting those big runs,” said Junior Quarterback, Jude McWhorter.

Robinson also recorded ten total tackles against the Cardinals.
