LONDON, Ky. (WYMT) - In their final game of the regular season, North Laurel faced Wayne County and won, 41-7.
In the first quarter, the Cardinals’ had a 7-0 lead.
In the second quarter, It didn’t take long for the Jaguars to find their groove.
With about nine minutes remaining in the first half, Cooper Robinson scored the first points for North Laurel on an approximately 30-yard rushing touchdown.
The Jaguar defense forced Wayne Co. to punt on their next drive.
On North Laurel’s next possession, Jude McWhorter scored on a 35-yard quarterback keeper to give the Jaguars’ their first lead of the night.
North Laurel led, 14-7 at the break.
The Jaguars scored 41 unanswered points, with the defense holding the Cardinals to zero points in the second half.
