Alaska Airlines is facing IT issues again, marking the third disruption in just three months.
This time, a global outage of Microsoft’s Azure platform, which hosts several Alaska and Hawaiian Airlines systems, is to blame.
The airline says key services, including its websites, were disrupted on Wednesday, causing problems with online check-in.
Microsoft reports the issue has been identified and a fix has been deployed, but it may take several hours before everything is fully restored.
