EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Day two has wrapped on the murder trial of Evansville teenager 16-year-old Isam Clark.
He is accused of killing 19-year-old Dalton Collins on Lodge Avenue back in March.
It was a busy day in court, as each person directly involved in what police call “deal gone wrong” gave their testimony.
It started when 19-year-old Zachary Kiper took the witness stand. He was in the car with Collins when he was shot.
Kiper says he was shot too, and returned fire when the shooting started.
We also heard from 18-year-old Ethan Baughn, who said he orchestrated the drug deal from Indianapolis, and admitted it was meant to be a robbery from the start.
The plan was to steal Collins’ gun as well as marijuana.
Lastly, we heard from 17-year-old Derrick Brifil, who is also charged
