MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.- For the 2nd straight season, the Esko girls soccer team saw their title hopes end in the state semifinals.

Facing top-seeded Providence Academy, Esko went into the break trailing by two.

Then in the 2nd half, Hannah Rautell found the back of the net to pull her team within one.

Shortly after that though, the Lions responded with another goal to end the momentum and come away with the 3-1 victory.

Esko will play for 3rd place on Thursday at 1 PM in St. Paul. 7 minutes ago Neil Vierzba ,
