We've got a bit of a mixed bag to talk about as we head through the rest of our Wednesday and into the coming days.
We are seeing some steady rain and showers continuing across our viewing area this evening. I know many of you are looking for it to clear up, and the good news is, we expect that rain to start tapering off for most areas by this evening and then into the overnight hours.
However, our friends in the KY Pennyrile and the Southwest Indiana region might hold onto some lingering light showers until Thursday morning. After midnight tonight, we'll begin to see skies clearing from west to east, which is a welcome sign!
Looking ahead to tomorrow, Thursday, the big story will be the wind. We're forecasting breezy northerly winds with gusts that could reach around 20 miles per hour.
