Qantas has launched a major sale discounting more than 300,000 seats to 27 of the world’s most popular destinations.

The week-long international sale includes economy fares from $299 one-way, with destinations across Asia , America , Europe and the Pacific .

Economy return fares include Melbourne to Bali from $559, Sydney to Los Angeles from $999, Sydney to Santiago from $1599 and Adelaide to Denpasar (via Sydney or Melbourne) from $659.

Premium Economy and Business class seats are also on sale.

Qantas international chief executive Cam Wallace said demand for international travel was stronger than ever.

Customers took more than seven million trips last financial year, he said.
