LOGAN — A single-vehicle rollover crash Wednesday afternoon on US-89/91 required an adult patient to be extricated and caused extensive damage to utility poles.
The Logan City Fire Department said firefighters and EMTs, including Battalion 70, Rescue 70, Engine 72, Engine 71, and Medic 70, responded to the crash in the area of 2200 South Highway 89/91 at 3:26 p.m.
According to preliminary reports, a silver SUV struck and severed several utility poles before coming to rest on the driver's side. The lone occupant, an adult, was successfully removed from the wreckage and transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
