TYLER, Texas (KETK) -- The Hispanic Professionals Association of Tyler is hosting a Día De Los Muertos Art Exhibition at the Downtown Southside Bank from Oct. 23 to Nov. 17, inviting people curious about Día De Los Muertos and Hispanic culture to learn and participate next year.
The association is promoting Día de los Muertos, a Latin American tradition commonly known as Day of the Dead, that celebrates the deceased. Local students have the opportunity to exhibit their artwork and earn awards.
The organization behind the exhibit, the Hispanic Professionals Association of Tyler, aims to give back to the Tyler community through community service, volunteering, education, culture, and leadership development.
