MOORE COUNTY, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The Panhandle Auto Burglary and Theft Unit released information about an ongoing investigation into alleged stolen cargo valued at around $600,000.
Officials detailed that on Oct. 28, it assisted the Moore County Sheriff’s Office and the Potter County Sheriff’s Office during this investigation.
The release stated that the investigation led them to the recovery of a stolen semi-trailer loaded with 40,000 pounds of beef.
The estimated $600,000 trailer, along with the product, was returned to its rightful owner, and no arrests have been made. Officials added that this case is still under investigation.
